Professional Golfers

Gaganjeet Bhullar

Gaganjeet Bhullar is a powerhouse of Indian golf, renowned for his precision and composure. Turning professional in 2006, the Amritsar-native quickly rose through the ranks, becoming the most successful Indian on the Asian Tour with an impressive 11 titles. His career is marked by consistency and a sharp short game, highlighted by his historic victory at the 2012 Macao Open and a stellar European Tour win at the 2018 Fiji International. An Arjuna Award recipient, Bhullar has consistently represented India on the global stage, including the World Cup of Golf, inspiring a new generation of Indian athletes.

Gaganjeet Bhullar has established himself as a dominant force in the Indian Golf Premier League (IGPL), securing four titles in just six appearances. Bhullar successfully defended his title at the recently concluded IGPL Invitational Chandigarh 2026, where he delivered a bogey-free 68 in the final round, dropping only a single bogey across the entire three-day tournament.

Veer Ganapathy

Veer Ganapathy is currently one of India's most promising young professional golfers, having transitioned from a dominant amateur career to a standout debut season on the Indian Golf Premier League (IGPL) in 2025.

After turning professional in September 2025, Ganapathy quickly established himself as a top contender. In his rookie season, he was crowned the "Young Turk" of 2025.

The son of former India No. 1 Rahul Ganapathy, Veer honed his skills early by mirroring his father’s right-handed swing. His breakout 2025 season included a runner-up finish in Kolkata and a T2 in the UAE Invitational, ultimately placing him 7th on the IGPL Order of Merit.

Syed Saqib Ahmed

Syed Saqib Ahmed is a seasoned Indian professional golfer from Bengaluru who has been competing on the professional golf tours since turning pro in November 2015. His most significant professional achievement is winning the 2018 PGTI Cochin Masters, he clinched this maiden title at age 23.

He is currently a prominent figure in the Indian Golf Premier League (IGPL), where he is recognized as a "silent, sharp, and dangerous" competitor.

At the IGPL Invitational Kolkata 2025, he shared 5th place (T5) with a final score of 6-under-par.

Aryan Roopa Anand

Aryan Roopa Anand is a standout talent in Indian golf, known for his explosive power and decorated amateur background. The Bengaluru-based golfer turned professional in 2023 after a historic amateur career where he became the first to win back-to-back All India Amateur Championships (2019, 2021).

On the Indian Golf Premier League (IGPL), he quickly made his mark, finishing 4th on the 2025 Order of Merit with two runner-up finishes.

Aryan also represents India internationally on the Asian Tour. His aggressive style and mental toughness have solidified his reputation as one of the country's elite young pros.

Vijender Singh

Vijender Singh is an Olympic medalist and pioneering figure in Indian boxing who elevated the sport’s profile on the global stage. A disciplined competitor with sharp technical skill, he became the first Indian boxer to win an Olympic medal at the 2008 Beijing Games, inspiring a new generation of athletes across the country.

Dylan Naidoo

Dylan Naidoo is an emerging South African professional golfer known for his composure, technical precision, and steady rise through the competitive ranks. Developing his game within South Africa’s rich golfing ecosystem, he has built a reputation for consistency and strong course management.

Charu Sharma

Charu Sharma, a former six-time junior national springboard diving champion who qualified for the 1978 Commonwealth Games, began his broadcasting career at the 1982 Asian Games and became one of India’s leading multi-sport commentators. He later founded Mashal Sports and launched the Pro Kabaddi League in 2014, elevating kabaddi into one of India’s most watched sports, and continues to work as a commentator, sports professional, and event host.

Sumit Rathor

Sumit Rathor is a senior business leader, entrepreneur, and board level advisor with more than three decades of experience building, scaling, and advising businesses internationally. A highly accomplished and competitive golfer, Sumit has won over 500 trophies across tournaments. Known as a steady and consistent golfer, his presence represents the spirit of golf at this event.

Venkatesh Prasad

Venkatesh Prasad is a former Indian fast bowler and respected coach, known for his disciplined swing bowling and key role in India’s 1990s successes. He later contributed to Indian cricket as a national bowling coach and mentor.

Gala Dinner

The evening will culminate in an elegant Prize Distribution Ceremony at the JW Marriott, Nandi Hills.
