The ‘Voice of Indian Sport’, Charu Sharma began competing in sporting events at a very young age, starting his sports casting career in 1982 at the IX Asian Games for National Network of India. He rose to become a prominent media personality, one of the most respected multisports television commentators & anchors in the country. His vast repertoire of major international and national events include cricket, swimming, diving, water polo, badminton, hockey, football, basketball, volleyball, motorsports, etc. he has commentated on and presented for various major television channels. He continues to work as a freelance sports anchor/commentator, sports management professional and voice over artist, regularly hosting award shows, corporate events and lectures on teamwork and leadership.
Prashanth is partner at Accel, a leading venture capital firm that has invested in over 300 companies. Investing in Indian technology start-ups in 2004, he began as a co-founder of Erasmic, one of India’s first early-stage funds. Prior to that, he founded two enterprises in the Internet and multimedia publishing domains. As a key member of Accel’s India team, Prashanth focuses on consumer Internet services, online marketplaces, and SaaS. He is also the founder of Founder Unbox BLR, a participative and volunteer-driven project to craft a new brand narrative for Bangalore, through multiple media properties and perspectives.
Professor M. V. Rajeev Gowda is Vice Chairman of the Karnataka Policy and Planning Commission with the rank of a Cabinet Minister. He was an Indian Member of Parliament from 2014-20 He represented Karnataka state and the Indian National Congress party in the upper house, the Rajya Sabha. He is Chairman of the Congress party's Research Department, was Convener of its Manifesto Committee for the 2019 election, and is also a National Spokesperson. Prof. Rajeev has been a Director on the Central Board of the Reserve Bank of India and a Carnegie Council Global Ethics Fellow, his recently co-edited book is India’s Risks, Oxford University Press India 2014. He is also founder of the Resurgent India Trust , has mentored start-up companies and works on youth empowerment, among other areas of interest. An avid quizzer, Prof. Gowda was founder secretary of the Karnataka Quiz Association in 1983 and national runner up on BBC TV's Mastermind India in 2002.
Amoghavarsha J. S. is an Indian filmmaker and wildlife photographer, winner of the the 67th National Film Awards for his film "Wild Karnataka"[2] as the Best Exploration/Adventure Film. He is the art director on Grammy Award Album "Divine Tides" by Ricky Kej, has previously worked with National Geographic and BBC, is the "EOS Ambassador" for Canon and has appeared on TED Talks India Nayi Soch hosted by Shah Rukh Khan.
Vasu Dixit is a composer and musician in equal measure. His craft brings many nuances of art into one space. Vasu is the lead singer of the band Swarathma and also creates music of his own through the Vasu Dixit Collective (VDC). Vasu's open-throated voice, his rich vocal style, wide range, and deep passion is powered by a free-spirited celebration of life, whether he sings with VDC, Swarathma or on his own. Vasu has also worked as an actor and film director predominantly in the Kannada movie industry.
